A Gardening We Will Go 2009

Who?   Pre-K through 8 grade teachers

What?  “A Gardening We Will Go” focuses on sustainable agriculture in Oklahoma.

Why?   If you are interested in learning more about planting school gardens, healthy food choices, sustainable agriculture, community sustained agriculture, organic farming, interdisciplinary curriculum or accomplished teaching practices that integrate agriculture, this is a one-time opportunity for you. 

When?  The workshop is June 2-3, 2009. 

Where?  Stillwater will be our home base and from which charter bus travels will take us to working vegetable farms, Botanical Gardens Educational Center, OSU greenhouse, farmers markets, and more.

How much?  $30 participation fee.
